At S’Oak Artisan Studio we create one of a kind barrel tables, planters, water features, fire pits and sculptures.
Welcome to S'Oak
Jonathan works from the Dorset coast, creating sculptural outdoor pieces from reclaimed whisky and bourbon oak. His practice combines heritage materials, fine woodworking and hand‑refined metalwork to create work with character, weight and authenticity.
Each piece is shaped by the natural grain and the decades of story held in the timber.

COMMISSION YOUR PROJECT
I welcome commissioned work for clients who want something truly individual for their home, garden or architectural space. Every piece begins with reclaimed whisky and bourbon oak, shaped first by nature and then by decades inside the cask.
Whether creating a handcrafted table, fire pit, water feature or a one-of-a-kind fine art sculpture, each design is developed around your space, your vision and the unique character of the timber. Crafted by hand on the Dorset coast, every piece is made to last, made with purpose and made to be seen.
From functional statement pieces that bring people together to sculptural artworks that enhance homes, gardens and buildings, each commission is entirely unique.
If you have an idea, a location or simply an inspiration in mind, I can create a bespoke oak piece designed specifically for your space.
