HOW TO COMMISSION
Whether you’re looking for a striking fine-art sculpture, a bespoke fire table for a hotel terrace, or simply an exceptionally crafted oak water butt for the garden, every S’Oak piece starts the same way: with a conversation.
You don’t need a formal brief or prior experience commissioning bespoke work, just an idea of what you’re hoping to bring into your space.
1. The Initial Chat
Get in touch to talk about your space, your ideas, and what you're drawn to. No pressure, no corporate preamble, just a straightforward chat about what’s possible.
2. Tailoring the Details
We’ll look at the options, choosing the right reclaimed oak, selecting hand-finished metal bands in raw copper, brass, or bronze, or custom-painting the timber using specialist exterior finishes like Farrow & Ball to match your exact palette.
3. Handcrafted in Dorset
Once we're aligned, I get to work in the workshop, building your piece entirely by hand and honoring the history of the timber.
4. Delivery & Placement
We arrange safe delivery and positioning so your piece lands exactly where it’s meant to be.
